Stopped by Greggs the other day and had a really great experience. The food was really tasty and warm due to it being fresh out the oven. Also the young woman trainee with blue hair was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and had a great attitude throughout. Even though they were still learning, they were confident, patient, and made sure everything was right with my order. It’s always nice to be served by someone who clearly enjoys helping customers. Never order from here! Ordered from here 10+ times and the order has never ever been right. Always things missing or getting sent nonsense like cheese salad sandwich when ordering tuna mayo baguette (my colleagues are lactose intolerant so this was beyond a joke as I wasn’t ordering just for my self). And if you do decide to order from here prepare to get the order your self as it’ll take over an hour or drivers will accept to then cancel the order or when it’s missing things they tell you to go in and get it from there so you’ve clearly got it you just can’t manage putting 4 things in correct

I rarely go to the Melton Mowbray Greggs. The last time I did was over 10 years ago when I worked in the town centre. The few times that I did back then, I’d spend more time queuing to buy a sandwich off peak time on a weekday than I would actually eating it. Today I thought I’d give them another go due to being told how good their breakfast bacon sandwiches are. After spending 15 minutes in the queue, being moved out of the way constantly as customers were referred back to the fridges due to no clear labelling of deals being displayed until you got to the front counter, and nothing to show

Unfortunately I felt like the young lady who served me wasn't listening when I ordered, as she came back to me and said they have no sausage rolls when I asked for a vegan one. Had to clarify my order with her and felt like some attitude came back. Not the first time I've felt the attitude whilst being served recently there, I get everyone has a bad day once but it feels a bit more consistent. Slightly concerned that the order could have been fulfilled wrongly had I not clarified.
