Great experience from start to finish. The food was well presented and clearly made with care. Starter was packed with flavour — soft bun, well-seasoned chicken, and a really good balance from the pickled veg and creamy sauce. Steak for the main was cooked properly with a solid sear, juicy inside, and the sides were exactly what you want — crispy chips, decent onion rings, and a rich peppercorn sauce on the side. First time I have visited for Sunday lunch and it will not be the last. The enormous Yorkshire pudding is the first thing you notice but everything else on the plate is also delicious (even though hidden from sight) would highly recommend. Our waitress was also lovely, friendly and attentive.

Treat yourself because you're worth it. What a gem of a place and an exemplary ambassador for excellent food in Castleford and Yorkshire. I found this delightful place by chance and I was so impressed, in hindsight, I should have purchased a lottery ticket. Their menu changes monthly giving the chefs the opportunity to express their creativity and boy. Have they been showing off? The waiting staff are absolutely lovely and really helpful making every single visit to this establishment and absolute pleasure. Most importantly, we were able to bring our four-legged companion.
