This is quite a different restaurant in Middlesborugh - in the sense that there aren't that many Wendy's outlets in the UK, so that makes it rather special! Not only is it unique, but it also has very good food! The Baconator is personally never a miss for me, I often pair them with the Baconator fries, but they aren't necessary. Their frosty's are also PHENOMENAL, HONESTLY. I've had very few desserts that have compared to their chocolate frosty, it's so good ahhh (I want one now). Very good restaurant, I hope it manages to stay here!

I ate at your restaurant this afternoon (Wednesday 4th March 2026) I ordered a chicken nugget meal and was enjoying it until I realised the chicken I was eating was pink. Every single nugget was pink. I’ve never had a problem or fear with food but since this experience earlier today it’s left me uncertain about returning to your restaurant. Your restaurants staff needs to make sure the food is cooked before serving it as this could make someone very poorly. I have attached an image below. It was just another fast food restaurant. Nothing amazing. Fries weren't as nice as McDonald's. Had a strange taste. Burger OK but NOTHING extraordinary. The only thing I would go back for was an ice cream that my daughter got. It was a choice of drink in the meal section so I thought it would be a milkshake. But it was a cup of delicious ice cream with biscoff crumbs on the top. I had a latte. It was OK. My teenage children enjoyed the food. We only went in because of the cries of my youngest going "oh it's Wendy's, oh it's Wendy's". I had no idea who Wendy was, and still don't. 😂🤣

Just opened and visited at Middlesbrough, we have experienced Wendy's in Florida and love it. We really wanted to visit again but jumping on a flight is a tad extreme 😅, when Wendy's opened at Middlesbrough we were so happy. We just visited and got the famous Baconator, a Dave's Double Cheeseburger, chicken nuggets, chicken wrap, bacon & cheese loaded fries, jacket potato with bacon and cheese, coke and hot chocolate, all came to about £30. So much better than McDonald's, Burger King or Popeyes, I was full before even eating just Dave's Double, we asked for a takeout bag to bring the rest ho
