I've just popped into our local Sainsbury's with my baby boy to buy some picnic bits for the weekend. While having a little mooch, I found a pair of baby shorts in the sale section. They were on a hanger with a handwritten "9–12 months" label, but there was no price tag. I took them to the till with my groceries and asked how much they were. Nipped in today to have a look at their clothes. Huge sign above clothes area saying 'fitting room' so needing to try on, I spent 20 minutes looking and choosing...only to get to changing room to see a tiny sign saying the fitting rooms are now permanently closed!! I was fuming. Left in disgust. What is it with supermarkets shutting their fitting rooms all of a sudden? Take the big sign down!! Waste of time.

I am just back in Lancaster after being in Europe where the shelves are full. But here many of the shelves were empty. There was a shocking lack of availability &/or variety of fresh produce specifically: fruit, vegetables, some meat & dairy. Similarly large empty spaces in freezer sections, &; grocery sections e.g., coffee, nuts, etc

A lovely clean store. We got some winter coats for the children. Really good quality and 50% off so an excellent price as well. Good to also have Habitat & Argos in the store.
