I have been using this chippy over 25 years, today the service was so slow the first items were cold by the time the last were wrapped, the price has gone up by 30% and the portion size down the same. We used to order by phone and the food was always ready on time, we can now no longer get a phone order as nobody answers the phone, I was in the shop over 10 minutes to order 6 meals, there were 3 staff working, no other customers came in while I was there and the phone was ringing but not answered. May as well turn the building in to flats now!

£20 for 2 regular chips and 2 curry sauces is abit of a rip off . Also the Chinese curry sauce tasted AWFUL like it tasted off and the chips looked pretty anemic

I gather this is now under new ownership and it's a game changer! The fish was excellent, batter very crispy and fish was sublime. The chips were excellent to 👍 So if you're ever in Newcastle don't hesitate to pay a visit. Trust me you won't be disappointed
