Came for a Sunday dinner I’m not local just visiting for the weekend and it was lovely, generous portions, a good deal on with a starter and the staff were very polite and quick to service. I would definitely recommend eating here. Beer battered mushrooms and chicken roast in the photos and they do blue light discount, even better.

Visited on a busy Wednesday lunchtime after nearly 10 years since last visit! Very impressed with cleanliness, choice of food , service and what I ordered, the Chicken and Mushroom pie with mashed potato, peas and gravy along with the Apple Pie and custard later on for dessert . The Chicken and Mushroom pie was generously filled, tasty and filling , pastry was perfect too, crispy and well, perfect! The accompaniments were also impressive and of decent quality.
