This is the location where the non-Northern Irish one of us experienced a proper Ulster Fry for the first time. It is therefore rather special in its own way. We usually arrive mid morning to lunchtime and the Regency is always packed, but you still get seated within a few minutes. Unless it is a larger group. Since it is busy, it can get quite noisy and you might struggle a bit to get a servers attention but that is alright. Had a Christmas lunch here for 11 people this week. The setting was very festive and the food was delicious and the staff could have been more attentive. One of the party had strict food allergies and the chef was fastidious in the preparation of his meal I wholeheartedly recommend this spot in Newtownards
