Have been here before a few years ago and food and service were excellent. However, went there yesterday and what a difference. We were seated upstairs, no issue. A Young lady asked after 2 mins if we were ready to order, i said no but if she could give us 5 mins to please come back, reply was ' i will if I remember' if not order downstairs at the bar? Anyway, she returned after 10 mins. Food..Steak pie was rock hard, dry and veg were cold, chips hard. Couldn't eat half of it. My son had Katsu curry with rice, small potion arrived, little sauce and looked like a microwave meal and bland. H

The eggs were put right on top of the "toast", so you could imagine it tasted like rather unpleasant 'eggy bread'. Nothing wrong with the eggs overall though. The grilled tomato was really hard so it was tricky to cut through. Hash browns were nice, same as the mushrooms. If this could be rectified for futur

Plenty of mulled wine and Katsu hash browns! Little bit on the warm side and we had a tv in our face (a few inches) so avoid table 18. Otherwise great 👍
