I recently visited Dosa and Chutney in Nottingham, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The food was fresh, authentic, and full of flavour — easily some of the best South Indian cuisine I’ve had in the area. The dosas were perfectly crisp and generously filled, and the chutneys and sambar were rich, well-balanced, and clearly made with care. The service was warm and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, perfect for both a casual meal or catching up with friends and family. If you’re looking for genuine South India

I have no idea why these negative reviews. The food is absolutely amazing. If you want fancy restaurant with small portions with no taste then don't go here. Go somewhere else and get ripped off. The food is authentic. Yes the service and the atmosphere can be improved but the food is always been as how it should be. If I don't like something I always point it out and they sort it out however only happened to me once. The spiciness. You have to tell them to make it mild. It's a South Indian/Sri-lankan restaurant and food is expected to be SPICY! If you want standard food then go to GURKHA 19 a

The review is based on my numerous time dine out at this restaurant. The south indian food is amazing, very authentic and love their weekend buffet, though they can change the variety. Hospitality of the staff is very good and ambience overall good. The area where it could improve is the north indian dishes, specially around north indiqn dishes. Overall as i said big fan of this restaurant and whenever i visit Nottingham , i do make a visit for at-least one time meal of the day.

I have ordered mysore masala dosa and paper dosa. Mysore masala dosa is delicious if you’re indian you’ll like it but if you’re from uk it may taste spicy. For me it wasn’t spicy at all, it was crispy and i loved it. Paper dosa is without any filling or masala but very cripy, It’s a good option if you want to explore dosa options in Nottingham, both are my absolute favs.
