Went for a small walk on Sunday before Ice hockey finals (19th of April) and thought we will just stop in random place to have a breakfast and spotted Fothergills opposite the Castle. Place looked very inviting and it did not disappoint. We came in just after 10am, there were not a lot of customers and girl serving us was absolutely amazing. We had a fantastic experience at this pub! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and has that classic charm that makes the place even more enjoyable. The food and drinks were great, but the highlight was definitely the service. Fan was absolutely lovely, very kind, attentive, and gave excellent recommendations that truly enhanced our visit. Fothergills is a real find in Nottingham. I will definitely be eating there again. Two of us ate dinner, quite early before a concert and we had a great experience. Our Waiter was charming and very attentive. He could answer any question we had about the menu. Both of us drank Blue Moon and had a main course as pictured. I chose the Lemon Chicken and Salsa Verde, which was delicious and came with whole baby carrots and roasted sweet potatoes under the grilled chicken breast.
