Was one of the best chip shops in Nottingham at a good price, but now very overpriced. £11.29 for a doner kebab on naan is definitely one of the most expensive in Nottingham, and I've definitely had better for a lot less. 😔 Also cash only in the evenings, when they take the most money. Will stick to Mr Pizza in Wollaton from now on — £6 and more than a match for Georgio's. Disappointing, as it used to be one of the best chip shops in Nottingham at a good price.

Today I placed an order for two large fish and chips. I came straight home within 10 minutes of the order collecting it. when I openedthe box. The two pieces of fish were absolutely rock hard and one was stone cold. The fish had been overcooked for too long. The chips were black and hard and there were sharp like dog end. Also the chips were cutting into my mouth and getting stuck in my throat. Not long after I phoned the owner (Mike) who owns Georgios fish place, he explained to me that the fish goes on a timer and by weight which I understand and he was questioning me on how long it took me

Today while working in the area I visited this chip shop and for £4.50 I received a regular chips and a large battered sausage. The chips because of the cardboard box just tasted like cardboard and I don't know what they had done with the batter on the sausage but it was like chewing cardboard to try and bite the sausage in half. Even cutting it with the wooden folk was a challenge. As for flavour it was very bland and I'm glad I had some more salt in the van as I couldn't taste the salt and vinegar that they put on in the shop. I wouldn't visit again for chips if I was in the area.
