Excellent old pub. A few different bars and seating areas. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in town. Seating outside and dog friendly. Shows sport and a load of beers on tap.

Lovely place, been coming here for many years and today was meant to be a birthday lunch. Previously, the food has been amazing, but on this occasion, it was awful. The staff were lovely, the first lot of food that came out was stone cold, the second plate was microwaved with just a fresh fried egg on top and the whole thing was not edible and not worth the nearly £17 that was charged. The lady behind the bar was lovely, I got a refund, but birthday meal pretty much a none starter. The bar lady said they were very busy, which is understandable, but firstly, if a good chef cannot handle a busy

Absolute joke of an experience at The Bell Inn. My friend and I went for a few drinks outside. First round went fine (a Guinness and a Cruzcampo). We finished those and ordered a second round via the app: another Cruzcampo and a Level Head Session IPA. We sat outside waiting for 20 minutes. Nothing arrived, so I went inside to politely ask about the delay. Instead of checking the order, the manager was incredibly rude, hostile, and flat-out accused me of trying to scam free drinks. Her "evidence"? There was an empty Level Head glass on our table from a completely different customer who had lef

One of the best pubs I've been to in this city. Plenty of history adorning the walls and very nice wood panelling. I had a very good ale for around a fiver. Will return and edit this review.
