“Lovely small cafe, good menu choice and lovely food”

This is a cute halal breakfast/lunch place on Allendale Road. I visited on Saturday around 11ish and it was relatively quiet but got busier throughout the day. The Establishment has seating. I ordered the mushroom with spinnach and poached eggs, served with a choice of sourdough, white or brown bread. I opted for decaff coffee but I have to say it wasnt great. Im sure the regular caffeine drinks are better. The food was great though, I would go again to try something different. Service was great too! Very quick 👍🏼

I usually love the food here, but unfortunately I had the full English (halal) and I didn't enjoy it this time, I wondered if the chef had changed 🤔 The eggs were cooked as requested but oily, the hash browns held far too much oil as if they were re-fried. We had a cappuccino and a caramel latte but both seemed a bit watery. I love this place for a catch up as it has a calm atmosphere. On this occasion the food took too long and was a let down 😞

Cue is a popular cafe on Allandale Road that is part of the vibrant cafe culture in the area. The cafe has a variety of dishes on the menu, from croissants to a full English breakfast and other dishes such as Shakshuka. The cafe is clean and well maintained, and the food here is 10/10 - good flavours, well cooked to your taste as well as top ingredients. The only downside was that food took ages to come out when we came, despite the cafe not being busy, however this didn't stop us from enjoying. Additionally there are Palestine flags all over the shop, which was lovely to see. We will be

Contrary to some negative reviews toward the staff’s attitude and manner, we’ve found them very nice, polite, and efficient. However, the soundscape of the cafe was unbearable, a box of noise pollution generated by its customers. Well, it’s a shame that the cafe isn’t really at fault here, but why would I come back when there’s more peaceful places in the area that are healthier to my ears and mental health. Coffee is good. Carrot cake is too sweet. Scrape the cream off and it’ll be edible.
