Thais B.★★★★★It is beyond me how this place doesn’t have a higher Google score. It’s in a great location, tastefully decorated, and food was the best I had in Oxford. Not to mention the service! I got there earlier than the fish supplier and was quite upset not to get the mussels I was craving but while I waited, the guy got there and they somehow juggled my order in the kitchen 🥺 that made my day. Everything was perfect: from the fresh mussels, to the crispy chips, to the vinegar for the chips. Only thing to keep in mind is you can’t order the specials from the app, so just walk up to the bar to order.
Michael Carrico★★★★★Excellent food, great service! The fish and chips had an excellent crisp to them. They had a good wine selection and plenty of draft beers. I would definitely come back again!
Kit Gordon★★★★★Great Sunday lunch! Turned up for an early lunch and greeted by friendly staff. The roasts were great and the Yorkshire puddings enormous! Will definitely visit again.
Gilford Sweetenham★★★The setting was lovely, with a perfect spot for people watching. It was a quiet time of day, and we only ordered a round of hot drinks rather than food. Unfortunately, the experience was let down by a few small issues. The pot of tea was only half full, and the hot chocolates arrived at different temperatures and only after the tea had already been finished. While the staff were polite, these details made the overall visit a little disappointing.
