I had an excellent experience at **Mint and Mustard in Penarth** and can’t recommend it enough. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming—friendly, attentive, and genuinely keen to make sure everything was just right. Their service added a really personal touch to the whole visit. The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was full of flavour, beautifully prepared, and clearly made with real care. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve, and it really shows in both the quality and presentation. It’s easily some of the best food I’ve had in the area.

I had home delivery. And this was up there with one of the worst takeaways ever had ! Rice was edible nice. Tikka was salty so salty it burnt the roof of my mouth. The korma was completely inedible. Just tasted like I was served a can of coconut cream. Absolutely disgusting! Onion bajes were like cardboard ! I wouldn't even try the sauces that came with papadams. They looked like they had been sat there for god knows how long. The papadams were lovely and crispy best thing out of the lot. All of this didn't come with a side salad. I was shocked ! I'm adamant this restaurants paying people for

Beautiful meal for our 37th wedding anniversary. Our server Swapnali made our evening very special and presented us with a decorated desert plate for our anniversary. Food, atmosphere and service was excellent.

We started with the poppadoms and straight away it felt like a good start. A generous amount, all nicely sized for sharing, which made dipping easy and kept things moving at the table. The mango chutney was a highlight. Sweet, sharp and familiar in the best way. The kind of flavour that sets the tone and tells you you’re in for a good meal. For my main I had the lamb josh rogan and it really stood out. The tomato based sauce was rich and warming, with a steady heat that built up without drowning everything else. The lamb was the real focus. Big chunks, tender, clearly cooked with patience. Ea
