2 of us had large haddock and chips, came with generous amounts of mushy peas and tar tar sauce excellent value for money, nice crispy battered and fresh fish the portion was over generous and we was both defeated and could finish is all. Well worth to travel into the Rhonda for, highly recommend.

This chip shop/restraunt establishment is very well run. I had Haddock and my wife had the Chicken platter and we were both very impressed with the quality. The chips were crispy yet fluffy inside, a rare combination these days. The restaurant area was beautifully clean and the toilets were spotless! If the public toilets are clean then I think you can always take it as a given that the kitchen area will be the same. The hand dryer wasn't working but apart from they were perfect. THAT'S RARE. The young lass who served us was polite and seemed genuinely interested that we were enjoying our meal

cod batter was soft - same with sausage in batter, deffo for some people just not us. we like crisp batter. chips were lovely staff were lovely, and the atmosphere was nice wouldn't get a cod here
