This venue formed a refuge from Starbucks, who served people in front of me when I stepped out of the queue to look at the cakes. They had a button code lock for the loo, then told me to leave after I waited 5 minutes to get my coffee, as they had not spotted my toy poodle, and they are not dog friendly ! So: maybe it was such a contrast when I came into Ginger Cafe that I rate them so highly, but the service and surroundings are good, and having had 2 coffies in quick sucession, I can confirm that their coffee is extremely good. I have bookmarked the cafe for my future visits to Perth.

Stopped in for sausage and toast and cup of tea in between shifts. The cafe was absolutely freezing with no heating on, the warm water unit at the sink was out of order. Breakfast was £8.75 for a cup of tea (jug had two tablespoon of milk in it) I was give two tiny sausages (equivalent of one) cut in half, one tiny slice of gluten free bread cut in half, a slice of cucumber and one cherry tomato. Felt absolutely robbed!! the whole experience was miserable and when I asked for another slice of toast I was asked to pay 45p 😂 I said no thank you. Hands down the worst cafe I have ever been to. If
