My partner and I visited here after receiving a gift voucher along with high recommendations from family friends. From the moment you walk in you receive an incredibly friendly welcome, Seated in a very cosy and clean restaurant. Everything is explained with the menu and all questions answered. We had starters & mains and honestly we have both never been so impressed with the meals, the quality, freshness, taste and portion sizes were bang on. As a first experience having Thai this has set the bar incredibly high. We will 100% be back. There are not enough words to say how highly we recommend

I want to highlight that the service was lovely — the waitress was attentive and friendly which was welcoming as a solo traveller. However I found the food to be somewhat lacklustre for the price, though I’ll note that the table sat beside me had some dishes that smelled excellent. The food portions were generous, I just wished the flavours had been a little more prevalent and the chicken not so overcooked.

I'm ashamed to say this was our first visit to Mae Ping Thai Dining.... what have we been missing all this time! Lovely owners and staff. Very welcoming and ready to help out with menu choices if required. The Thai Fishcakes were fantastic. The duck with ginger and pineapple was outstanding. A sizzling dish full of flavour and oh so tender duck. A generous portion too. My wife's had a king prawn curry dish which was super tasty too. Fab egg fried rice and noodles. The restaurant was busy which tells it's own tale. Highly recommended
