Monthly supercar meet. 9.30 till 11am. Carpark was packed just before 10am. Had the English breakfast while we were there, which took a while to arrive but was huge. Even the small was large. Food quality was acceptable / average for pub grub and price was reasonable. This is more quantity than quantity.

St Patrick day - 1130am Ancient pub done up, nice. Helpful staff. Main - Mixed Grill - Grilled 5oz rump steak 🥩, chargrilled chicken 🐓 breast, thick-cut gammon steak, two pork sausages made with British 🇬🇧 farm-assured pork, two free range fried eggs, onions rings , peas, chips 🍟 & peppercorns sauce. Cup of latte & glass of Guinness How much 👀 all in £29.57 not bad 👌

A very enjoyable pub. I ordered the three meat Sunday dinner. I wish I had committed to getting the turkey dinner instead as the turkey was lovely and moist. Staff were very friendly and we had a good time. The sticky toffee pudding was a lovely cap to the meal.

The service was very slow and it was not greatly busy. They had to swap or amend orders as they didn't seen to have half the ingredients - like no pepper or onions for halloumi red pepper skewer, only one banoffee sundae when we ordered 2 etc. Tiramisu was there, but no whipped cream. There was a long hair in the plate, so got offered chips which never arrived. Overall we had a good table (3* or even 4*), so we were busy catching up. Service was too slow and they came to say something was not available more than they brought food. All other things were worth 2*. We had better experience previo
