Heard about this restaurant/buffet online, we thought we won’t take in the negative comments and see for ourselves. We did come at 9:30pm as we came from London. The restaurant on google does say it closes at 11:00pm. Upon arrival when the manager said the buffet stops at 10:30pm. I suggested to my husband we should go elsewhere. However the manager insisted we have enough time and we will enjoy. The salad area did not have many options, most of the starters were not filled up again. They tasted hard and some were cold. We arrived at Aagrah at 10:03 PM after calling ahead to confirm that we would be coming around 10 PM. The restaurant closes at 11 PM, so we reasonably expected to be served. Instead, we were told that the staff had already started cleaning and would not be serving any more customers. We had travelled all the way from the other end of Leeds specifically to dine here, and this was incredibly disappointing, especially as I had brought a group with me based on the assumption that our confirmation call meant we would be accommodated. Had the worst food poisoning of my life. As tucked into my first plate, I noticed the food was cold so I told a waiter and he said I should go tell the chefs! Like seriously?! As a waiter, they should give customer complaints to the chefs. That's part of their job. I have now spent the whole week ill and got admitted to the hospital. I won't be back!!!

Tried this place a few times but only just got round to doing a review. Tried it most recently in January 2024. The buffet is good selection and has most of the regular items. My particular favourites were the lamb chops and the paye. The dessert buffet is limited to be honest and could do with improving. The mains dishes are nice. To be honest overall it is a good experience And good for the family. The place has loads of seating and the staff are well presented. I was comparing it to the Aagrah buffet in Sheffield which has since closed down. This Aagrah buffet could have more selection.
