​Great Vibe by the Lake ​Visited on Thursday, 25th June. We just walked in and found plenty of seating available, though because the weather was exceptionally hot, it was a bit of a challenge to find a spot entirely in the shade. ​We managed to find a shady spot right opposite the ordering hatch. Keep in mind that there is no table service in this particular section, but ordering drinks directly from the hatch is incredibly quick and convenient. They also have a great setup inside with taps for beer and a very good selection of wines. To top it off, there was a live saxophone player performing

We had a wonderful brunch at Pear Tree Cafe in Battersea Park. The location is fantastic, surrounded by greenery, and the park itself is absolutely beautiful. It creates a relaxed yet posh brunch atmosphere that we really loved. We ordered the scrambled eggs with salmon, and it was both very filling and delicious. Exactly what you want from a late morning meal. The cappuccino was the same size as the latte, which felt unusual at first, but we were pleasantly surprised and very happy about it! Visited on a Sunday morning around 10:30 and it was packed. The queue extended to the outside of the cafe but maybe people were there to get takeout coffee. It was a bit chaotic cos we ordered and got a table number assigned by the staff but were assigned a table occupied by another customer, so our food and drinks got sent to that table. We eventually got our food but I had to go to the counter to collect the coffee.
