We come here at least once a month for food, not had a bad meal yet… until today. Gammon was chewy, egg was rock hard, chips not nice! Onion rings burnt! Had to ask to send them back when they fetched the pizza (which was nice) out. But they came back the same, burnt with dark oil at the bottom of the bowl! Portion of peas was also laughable, also colour indicated they’d been sat there for hours. We didn’t get a check back and it wasn’t busy with at least 3 front of house members of staff. All in all not a great visit, won’t be coming back for a while!

Never visited this venue before and stopped off as visiting friends in the area for a lunch time meal. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and were able to find us a table. Ordered via the online ordering system and drinks and food came quickly. Food was good quality and very tasty. Great value with the 40% offer that was running at the time of our visit in September 2025. The Sunday Roast I had was very filling and meat was cooked extremely well. Nice decor and atmosphere.

My husband and I eat here quite often as it’s only a 5 min drive from our home. The staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble and they always reserve a certain table for us. The food is really good, and there is always something going on, like quizzes and special evenings. We like it there and it’s our first choice for an evening early tea when it’s not busy

When you walk into a pub and the food smells make you hungrier. You are onto a good thing! With a homely atmosphere, we felt welcomed with genuine friendly and helpful staff. Food was easy to order on the app. Came out quickly and was piping hot. Very tasty, great chips!!! Good prices. Recommended.
