I have been here twice. The food is really good. I tried the biriani, both lamb and chicken, these are really good value for money, it comes on a nice plate and portion is decent. I liked their shami kebabs, really nice and chunky. Note: You can order the starters on their own, you don't need to be pushed into ordering a portion. Now here is what you need to know: 1. All starters come as individual items so ask for the menu and order from there. Do not be mislead into buying portions if you don't need it. I recently tried the nihari and kulcha naan at Biryanish, Reading, and the experience was excellent. The nihari was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, paired beautifully with fresh, soft kulcha naan. The taste was authentic and truly satisfying. What a friendly atmosphere! The staff were brilliant. Sister Wish made me feel so welcome during Iftar! I had Nihari which was cooked to perfection….thick gravy,no oil….just beautiful and bursting with flavour! The portion size was huge! Wish also made the best Karak Chai! I’m definitely looking forward to making this one a regular of mine!
