As with every buffet-style canteen, there will be food that is less good than others and there will be times when the choice of actually good options is limited. Overall, sometimes the food is great, sometimes you will be less impressed. However, there will almost always be at least something that suits my taste and is of decent quality. I've read some of the other reviews and a few claim they've had issues with undercooked meat. I've never encountered this issue and I've eaten here many, many times. The staff is great and have also been very helpful with custom meal plans.

Nice student bar with food and drink options. I spent many an evening here after tennis coaching a few years ago, but i don't go here very much any more. Because it's full of students the atmosphere is normally much better than a lot of pubs and bars in town! And the drinks can be cheaper. They have big screen projectors for watching sport and it is a very big place.

Went for a nice roast Sunday. Very disappointed all the meat was undercooked and pink :( Considering it’s 99 pound a week meal plan I expect better quality food and meat to be cooked thoroughly.

This place has consequently become worse and worse throughout the term. It started off well and brought me food-joy but now at the end of this year it brings me nothing more than overcooked pasta and dismay.
