I’m updating my review after three months because the standards here have really slipped. I came in today and ordered a medium cod and chips, and honestly it was disappointing. The portion of chips has been getting smaller each visit, even though the prices haven’t. They also tasted double‑cooked or had an extra crunchy coating that I don’t like. The cod itself wasn’t cooked through (see picture). It was a thick piece, so why wasn’t it checked properly before being taken out of the fryer? Ordered before and always had a great experience, renowned for good portion size. Ordered fish and chips for delivery and was really disappointed with the portion size. The fish and chips were very small and didn’t feel worth the price.
