Had a really good experience at Salt Quay Rotherhithe. I had the cheese and bacon burger and it was cooked to perfection - really tasty and done just right. I was served by Jess, who was very polite and friendly. She also recommended a beer for me, which was a great choice. Her service was excellent and made the visit even better. I would definitely come back.

Can't comment on food as only drinks on a couple of evenings.. Service was slow and bar staff need to have a hospitality lesson. One night upstairs veranda is open the next your removed because its a private area with no notice. Rarely do I leave a negative review but when you are charging premium prices the customers deserve a premium service. I wouldn't return but other people may have a more positive experience. I have General Manager experience in a very similar premises and I would be shocked if any customer was left feeling the way I have this evening

Spacious pub with upstairs terrace and large garden with comfy seat cushions and great river views. Dog friendly. Really decent roast. Tasty. Generous portions. Crispy potatoes. Kindly brought extra horseradish. Would definitely recommend.

I usually have really positive things to say about this pub and have previously left great reviews but I feel the quality has dipped a lot over the last year/18 months. We book a table for the conference league final, the atmosphere was quite dead - nobody here to watch the game (not the fault of the pub). They took forever to change the tv over to the game, after we asked several times and missed the first 2 minutes (despite booking specifically for the game on the website). They had hardly anything in stock (no lemonade??) and didn’t tell us their kitchen was shutting so we couldn’t order fo
