Came this morning to enjoy a coffee with my partner and we noticed a lady in a scooter waiting quite some time for someone to come out of the disabled toilet. Total of 20 minutes had gone by and no one came out, so we asked a member of staff if it was locked. The staff member responded to say she didn’t know and walked off with zero interest in sorting the issue out. The lady couldn’t wait any longer so we helped her into the other toilets. I have coeliac and have to be super careful with what I eat and drink. Just want to drop a big thank you to the girls who’ve just served me as they were really accommodating and nice about my allergy requirements even though I was holding up the queue a bit. Also got the allergens book out and checked properly which was really reassuring. Super polite and deserve some recognition. Thanks girls!

Stopped for coffee and cake. Sat at table to be told area was closed even though someone already sat in the area. Not one table was free from dirty dishes. Had to clear table myself. Staff too busy chatting to a female visitor who was drapped over the counter. Unhygienically scratching her skin next to my food. This making it hard to get to the till. Shop was not busy, staff were not busy and after a 20 minute visit tables were still filthy and full of dirty dishes. Worst Costa ever visited. Love a Costa but will not revisit this site again.

Lights on, 2 members of staff inside, doors still locked at 7.15am despite a 6am opening time. Tapped on the window and staff member just points to drive through window. I wanted to sit down and have breakfast! Ended up driving over the road to Starbucks, who both advertised and actually did open at 6am.
