It was a beautiful park in the 1960's. Sadly only the bird sanctuary pond remains.The bulk being sold off to land and housing developers.Facing the pond at Jenny's Burn sits the pub of the same name.It is a Marston's chain pub.Warm cosy, interior and typical pub classics menu .They do nightly deals.Thursday is Sirloin Steak night with all the trimmings and a drink for around £13.It was all perfectly good.We had Deep fried Cauliflow

Drew Mac★Cold burger and cold chicken wings was not on the menu. It's not too hard to keep food warm. Service was excellent but the food distribution is sadly lacking. Easy to fix. Decent beers on the bar taps.
