Helen waugh★Really hate saying this as I have loved and used this place for FORTY YEARS, wen it was The Marigold but goin by the chicken maryland I received last night and pains in stomach i have today i will never use again..only angry with myself i did not take my £19 meal back as 90% went in the bin! Chicken was bitter and rubber..chips garbage, bacon curled up and way way over cooked, banana fritter solid on inside and batter was like sandpaper, sausage was rubber and not edible..i got portion onions and even they tasted off and wer binned.The only thing i ate HALF of was the pineaaple ring.I cannot u

Staff are great and came outside the restaurant to hand it to me whilst I was taking a phonecall, much appreciated customer care. This restaurant is a bit of a rutherglen institution, I'd love to see them open again for sit in meals.
