Decided to try here for one of our date nights. Mixed feelings to be fair. Service was great...our waitress was really friendly and helpful although when the ale my husband ordered wasn't available she brought him something different without checking... thankfully he liked it. Hubby had the hot honey chicken burger which was impressive to look at and he thoroughly enjoyed. Small portion of chips mind. I had the salmon with roast veg... although my roast potatoes were boiled potatoes... again not the biggest portion for the price but very tasty. Dessert was disappointing and I wish I hadn't ord

Stayed here for a couple of nights for a business trip. Emma greeted us with a smile, very chatty, friendly and attentive during our stay. Our first evening we had Ellie as our waitress, very friendly. We also participated in the Tuesday Quiz. We had a great evening, very good DJ / Quiz master. Second night our waitress was Isla again very friendly and food was pretty good. Good value for money. With regards to the hotel rooms. Given the rooms were average of £70 per night we didn't expect much given we normally pay twice this. Its fair to say the rooms are tired and in need of some TLC. A coa

Didn't stay here just popped in for meals. The food was lovely. The 2 courses were excellent value for money. The food was piping hot very delicious and served with a smile. Will definitely come here to eat again. The apple crumble was divine and not stodgy at all. We wanted chocolate fudge cake but they ran out so had crumble and sticky toffee pudding. They were both very delicious and the portions were spot on to fill you without feeling heavy!! Love this place and will return in the near future. The place was perfectly clean and toilets aswell. We visited for an evening meal. Arrived at what would normally be rush hour for service. We hadn't booked but were seated quickly and drinks order taken as we viewed the menu. We were given a good amount of time and didn't feel rushed in anyway. Food arrived incredibly quickly and freshly cooked. Fillet steak was just as requested and the bearnaise sauce was to die for. The halloumi wrap was so tasty. Although it was busy and bank holiday weekend it was an amazing meal.
