Eve B★★★★★Lovely family run restaurant. Valentines meal. Food gorgeous. Hummus starter for husband and I had tempura prawns. Both had chicken shawarma, tender and tasty with harissa potatoes and salad. Plenty of food, took a doggy bag home! But the ice cream, couldn’t chose between pistachios or rose water to go with the little ‘nests’, so the lovely man who runs the restaurant said have both. I’ve never had rose water ice cream, divine. Such a lovely flavour. Homemade too. Baklava red took home. Outstanding. Highly recommend this place!
Nick★★★★★We were a party of nine persons, six adult and three children, out for a special meal on Christmas Eve. As soon as we entered this restaurant, we all felt that it had a very welcoming and special warm, atmosphere, most probably as a result of the effusive and genuine greeting given by the proprietor. We were quickly seated and drinks ordered, we soon found that the Lebanese wine, that we, hitherto, knew nothing about was well worth a bottle or two! The food was amazing, with so much choice, and so different from what we would normally eat in a restaurant, with plenty of vegetarian options. I
General Reviewer★★★★A lively and lovely family run restaurant with some tasty food options on offer. A nice break away from the fish and chip hype, and genuinely friendly and welcoming staff. Kids really enjoyed the falafel and halloumi wraps and we enjoyed the kofte. Coffee is good too. Recommended! Place was fully booked by the time we left so I assume they have a good reputation locally.
Stephen Hodgson★★★★★We would recommend this family run restaurant to anybody looking for a typical friendly relaxed Mediterranean dining experience. The food was really good, generous servings, and just really tasty. Hassan, the owner, and Mo the chef were absolutely brilliant. We were the last diners in the restaurant, instead of rushing us they sat down with us and had a good chat. And as a bonus we got a magic trick show from Hassan's stepson. If you want great Lebanese food, a lovely relaxed vibe, this is the place to go
