Been coming here for years as it's dog friendly, today's steak pie had plenty of good quality meat but was far too salty and the wife's fish pie was nothing like the previous ones that she's had there, it had very little fish ( that was looked to have been grilled & burned at the edges ) three tiny shrimps & not enough sauce, & the mashed potato was very dry & tastless plus it obviously hadn't been in the oven to bake. Basically it was nothing like the fish pies that have been previously been loved & enjoyed.

Me and my mum and our little dog popped into the Golden Grid on 23rd June and from the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly by the young ladies who were serving downstairs, they were so friendly and helpful and my mum said that the tea was lovely and my chocolate milkshake was fantastic! The best milkshake I have had in ages. I then decided that I wanted to order chips, asked the girls if this was ok? Yes of course no problem she said. The chips were delicious. When I went to pay I noticed that one of the other customers who came in after us was talking to one of the girls in a rude mann
