Great museum about the history of industry in Sheffield! Free entry is a major plus and displays are both informative and interactive! Fantastic for families (there’s a demonstration of a steam engine and a kids colouring area)! Nice for a Saturday afternoon visit!

Lucy Kent★★★★★

A very interesting place telling you all about the history of Sheffield steel and the rest of industrial sheffield from back in the industrial revolution. All sorts of things on display. The cafe is nice too. Nice staff and not badly priced either.

John Hunt★★★★★

What a brilliant place to visit. A rich history of Sheffield steel making and cutlery. There are also some vintage vehicles and a huge steam engine which they fire up every hour or so. Should also mention it is free to get in but parking is very limited, even on the surrounding side streets .

Łukasz Hylla★★★★★

It’s a really interesting place with lots to see and learn about the city’s industrial history. The exhibits are well presented, the atmosphere is unique, and it’s a great spot for both adults and children. Definitely worth a visit.
