Super cozy underground cocktail bar. Small, so even when packed it's pretty quiet compared to the big bars/pubs. Space is VERY limited for walk-ins, so as an impromptu stop on a night out you're kinda rolling the dice. But if you get a seat you're in for a nice few rounds. You can also book in advance and get a booth instead.

I visited recently and had two cocktails during my time there. One was Be Our Guest and another (the name escapes me). That cocktail ended up being my favourite, featuring cream washed whiskey, shortbread, real white chocolate and charred raspberries macerated in alcohol (then fine strained). The flavour was intensely smoky, almost like tasting the smell of a recently burnt wood fire. The smokiness lingered for over half an hour after finishing the drink, which was seriously impressive. If you’ve watched plebs, don’t let it put you off. Hands down the best bar in Sheffield by a country mile, very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming staff. The drinks were sublime, like nectar in a glass 10/10. Cracking tunes, cozy vibe. Look no further if you want to escape the crowds and sticky dance floors. Credit to the gaffer this place is golden.

Great little venue with killer cocktails. Good strong cocktails done properly … thank you! We chanced a walk in on a Saturday night before comedy club at city hall and dropped on a seat. Very welcoming and great atmosphere. Look forward to returning. A hidden gem.
