This is a beautifully kept old style pub and is a tap room for a local brewery. The ales are superbly kept and delicious and they have beautiful bread cake sandwiches for a quid. This is one of those pubs where you can have a conversation with anyone in the pub, a dying trend in this day and age. Love this place

I’ve had some of the most memorable nights out at the Washington. Great place to drink, smoke, socialize, and dance your heart out until 3am. On the very rare occasion that there’s someone harassing the girls on the dance floor, the staff and bouncers have always handled the situation swiftly and professionally.
