Overrated and overpriced. Some nice breads, but not so many artisan selections. A few great cake choices, then a lot of what appear to huge iced muffins… it’s so nearly there. Service is hit and miss, but mainly disorganised, which leads to delays and items coming out at different times. My main issue… when eating in, no plate for my sandwich, just a paper bag, forks are wooden! And, at £4, cold drinks are served in plastic or paper cups! Come on Wedges… a nice glass is commensurate with your price point. There’s a lovely hustle and bustle and friendly smiley customers in Wedges, but I’m af

I very much enjoyed my chicken tikka toasted sandwich and the chocolate Eclair. I would definitely go again and take the children for a hot chocolate and cake. 20 percent tax payable with the order if you're eating in.

Lovely little bakery just a shame the lady serving us was so impatient and borderline rude. My partner ordered a sandwich and didn't bother ordering a drink as she was acting as though it was all a massive inconvenience. I put it down to having to work a sunny Bank Holiday and tried to give the benefit of the doubt.Even as we left I said thankyou and bye. However, this was completely ignored by both our server and her colleague who were stood by the till chatting to each other, reinforcing my initial impression that she was just plain rude and maybe in the wrong job.

I visit once a week for my sourdough bread. It's the best sourdough loaf I've tried by far, but make sure to cut it yourself, it stays fresher longer that way. I occasionally pick up some sweet treats and some are excellent (Victoria sponge and Bakewell) others such as choc gateau are a bit average. Overall a really good option for cakes and breads (breads aside from sourdough are also good).
