Fish Station in Southampton was a great surprise! I tried the chicken doner meal and it was absolutely spot on. The chicken was tender, full of flavour, and perfectly cooked — not dry at all like you sometimes get elsewhere. The portion size was generous, the chips were fresh and crispy, and everything came together really well. You can tell they care about quality and consistency. Service was quick and friendly, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. If you’re in Southampton and craving a proper chicken doner, this place definitely delivers. I’ll be coming back for sure!

There is a pay-and-display car park to the rear of the shop, which was handy. The shop is located on a high street and, on entering, it was easy to see how clean and tidy it was, and with a handful of tables and chairs to one side for dining in. The owner was all smiles, very polite, and welcoming. I ordered the large cod and chips. The chips were nicely plump, while the cod was a good size, fresh, and flaky, coated in a light, tasty, crispy batter.
