An absolutely fantastic business in Spalding where value for money really counts. The food here is exceptional, using quality ingredients, with delicious flavours. On our first visit in March, we came and ordered a roast dinner. This was absolutely beautiful! No mushed, over-cooked broccoli in sight! Everything had such beautiful taste and there was no slacking in terms of portion of meat cuts like most other places! We definitely didn’t go home hungry! I ordered a homemade raspberry cheesecake, it was gorgeous! You can tell when it’s actually homemade and not just a frozen dessert. Again, a g

On the 11th June we had a party of ten , when booking it on the phone we weren't asked to pre order our food but arriving we were asked if we had .? The menu said ..lamb shank with mash potatoes and vegetables, this was ordered but upon arrival the dish only came with a small amount of mash potato and peas ...no other vegetables and for the price this was a meal that wasn't worth the price. We used to visit regularly, but unfortunately we won’t be returning. On this visit, we had to seat ourselves at the table and weren’t informed about unavailable items until 10 minutes after placing our order, only to then find out that two dishes weren’t actually available. The pie and mash came with coleslaw on the side, which felt like an odd and unnecessary addition. The medium-rare steak was overcooked, and while it was eventually addressed, the response from staff was slow and delivered in a passive aggressive manner. We do appreciate that we were only charged for half of the steak meal,

A very warm welcome, from Padraig. I'm not a great fan of caveries, but this was good. We arrived at nearly the end of service, so you can reasonably expect that food quality may have dipped a little, but no. I did something that I've never done before and went back for seconds. Atmosphere was a little lacking, but then again, at the end of service, what to expect
