John Walsh★★★★★

A "real" pub that stands out in an area that has way too many, almost identical, soulless made over bars. It's a small gem. Started off basking in the sunshine in the small area out the front and then went inside to watch Brazil V Japan. A pint of Stella is £6. Service is fast and friendly. Good natured crowd. Try it rather than another stripped wood, weird overpriced beer, place. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Isabella★★★★

A classic under the London pubs I would say. A lot of history you got there. Lots of people standing outside for after work drinks and the goldies inside.

Graham Cave★★★★★

Great little old pub. These classic pubs are slowly disappearing. Great boozer and seems to be busy with locals. I will be back.

Tony Smith★★★★★

I love this place, a proper olde pub with character, always heaving with people standing outside. Every overnight visit to london with work means a trip to Brick Lane for a few beers here and a good curry up the road. Good choice of beers and a cracking pint of Guinness, probably one of the cheapest in London.
