Honestly one of the worst roast dinners I’ve ever been served. I eat roasts in a lot of places and I have never been given a plate where the meat was already drowning in gravy. It arrived absolutely swimming in it, which makes you wonder what they were trying to hide. The beef itself was fully grey-brown - poor quality and had an off smell — really not something you expect when ordering a roast. Completely unacceptable. I have not eaten my food and there was no check back or staff attention to acknowledge it. My partner ordered the fish and it came with ONE potato. One. For a main meal. It l

A lot of food, absolutely nothing wrong with it just too much for us two to eat. Great service for botomless brunch not an empty glass in site. An option for spirits or cocktails would be good as botomless bdunch only offered prosecco wine or fosters which was restricting and bloating so maybe extra tena for spirits or 15 for cocktails like other venues. Otherwise i couldnt faiult the service i highly recommend. Atmosphere great i stated for the Not Guns n Roses and it was more tthan worth it. Buy a ticket for even and brickhouse will ensure your near event if you in for food at same time xx a

Brickhouse Tavern in St Helens is hands-down one of the best dining spots in town, serving up a menu that consistently impresses with its bold flavors and perfectly executed dishes. From juicy, flame-grilled steaks to hearty, gourmet burgers and fresh, flavorful sides, every bite feels like a celebration of great food. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, but what truly sets Brickhouse Tavern apart is the staff—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive, making every visit feel like being welcomed into a friend’s home. Went here on 13th of February for a Whitney tribute with my partner. The place was busy and yet still managed to seat us. Food was really good and you can tell the quality. Not many places in St Helens come close. Will definitely be making it a regular place for food and the upcoming events.
