Had a fantastic meal here. The food is brilliant. The staff, Annie, Bec and Craig were brilliant. Service was second to none. They really brighten our day up.

I can't leave a food rating because I couldn't risk eating here after the smell in the toilets. I've been really sick before eating out. It's such a disappointment as your staff are lovely as is the bar and the menu looked spot on. Only leaving the review as this was mentioned two weeks ago and you really need to look into it as you'll lose custom and could be a health and safety issue. I like my dive bars but not when I'm hungry. Such a shame

This is my favourite town centre boozer. There have been some changes here since local stalwart and all-round top bloke Matty died, but the place is as good as ever from a food and ale point of view. Staff are always fab and there's a good craic with everyone behind the bar. The food is consistently good and I've never had any complaints whenever I have ate here. There is a lot of demand so things run out relatively quickly - a aign of a good place! It is also reliably one of the best pints of Guinness in the town. They even have the new fangled booze like Cruzcampo, and have a huge selectio

Normally love the food here but prices have gone up and quality down. Ordered a chicken buttermilk sub and didn’t realise it was quorn as the label saying it was so tiny!! I don’t mind quorn but this was a joke , it was clearly overcooked and so dry. I had very few chips and the sub was dry as a bone with sauce just in the middle, no butter or anything. Me and my daughter left most of the meal.
