Ok it's a fish and chip shop but if offering chicken then it should be better than the dry portion delivered. Chips dreadful - looked and tasted like they had been reheated and left to go cold again. Not the standard expected of this business which is usually very good.

1st time going here for a few years, we were not disappointed. Service very friendly and welcoming. Fish (large cod) was big enough to serve 3 people, delicious. Battered sausage very nice and large chips, again enough to feed 3/4 people, also very nice. There was no after taste from the oil which you can get from some fish and chip shops. Best of all for me, being northern, I can get scraps, full bag, my favourite. They did forget to add our chips and we had to go back, but soon rectified, very apologetic, not a problem as we don't live too far. All in all this will be our chippy next time
