Used to be so lovely in there, bump into neighbours and locals, not now. Prices have gone up a lot overnight, inside it's incredibly loud as there are no plants to absorb the noise. No live music, quiz or events. Food is very limited . Not serving the community anymore just another destination pub. staff is very nice and caring through . Shame

Need to put a restriction on children being allowed entry after certain hours. 8pm on a Friday night and the pub is swamped by strollers and toddlers, it's not a nursery! Obvs this is massively down to the parents but it would be great if the pub took initiative on this issue. Also ever since the change of hands the new staff have continued to be lovely and welcoming, my main disappointment really is the end of Sunday roasts but maybe they'll return in the future. Otherwise the new owners haven't gutted the place and a lot of it's charm still remains 🖤

Not a good spot if you're looking for a neighborhood pub, it's now a trendy bar for richer crowds. Unfortunately, this great family friendly pub has been taken over and is now very overpriced, loud, pretentious and not a good vibe at all. We used to come here at least twice a week for food and drink, and had previously left a shining review - which I've now removed. Extortionate prices for standard Heineken beers sold in supermarkets and small portions of everything else. We will never come back here again, however we may find ourselves litter picking their Christmas tinsel from the sidewalk a

Love the new management - perfect addition to the area. Great wine options. Lovely to see pubs surviving & reinventing in these times!
