My recent dining experience was exceptionally disappointing. The service I received was notably unpleasant, characterized by a distinct lack of courtesy from the staff. Furthermore, the quality of the food did not meet expectations; the fries were undercooked, and the portion of chicken provided was insufficient. I would advise others to reconsider visiting this establishment based on my experience. This restaurant unfortunately failed to deliver on basic standards of service and cuisine.

Fed up with this place now. Given it plenty of chances. The staff are a joke. I would avoid here and go to Balham instead. The staff don’t cook the food properly here, they don’t fry the chips properly. Frequently undercooked or cold. They routinely mix up freshly fried chips and older chips that have been sitting. When you ask for a large portion they literally just give you a small amount extra over a regular portion and behave as if it’s priced per chip or something or it’s being deducted from their wages. I usually order from this place and the food itself is good, plus the place is clean. However, the service really lets it down. If you’re very hungry, I wouldn’t recommend coming here — they take ages to prepare orders, almost like a sit-down restaurant. The estimated time is usually 15–30 minutes, but I’ve waited around 20 minutes almost every time I order. Service is generally poor. On my last order, they missed my rice, and when I called, I was asked to come back and collect it myself, which was disappointing. Good food, but slow service and mistakes make the experience frustrating.
