We had a lovely experience at Volsharn in Kent. The starters were a real highlight. The prawn puri was flavoursome and fresh with a beautifully balanced sauce. The onion bhaji was very nice, crisp, well seasoned, and clearly freshly made. The poppadoms were light and crispy and went perfectly with the mango chutney and mint sauce. Absolutely delicious. The service throughout the meal was excellent. The staff were attentive, polite, and genuinely welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The mains were good and rounded off the meal really well. Overall, it was a very enjoyable

We went to the volsharn for a nice meal with our friends and shortly after receiving our food we found our chicken was Completely raw in all 3 curry’s . The staff were accepting of the fat it was raw however insisted we paid for the rice and naan bread that we didn’t even eat as it was covered in raw curry . Would not ever come back here again . The staff were very dismissive and even said “the next time you come if your chickens raw you still have to pay for your rice”. Normalising serving raw chicken is unbelievable.

If you're looking for a vegetarian biriani that consists mainly of undercooked white cabbage with the overpowering flavour of curry powder and most definitely tastes like it had been reheated more than once than this is where to get it. We also had a side order of onion bhaji's that were too hard to bite into which I'd guess had been reheated too, and poppadoms that were over cooked, all in all a total waste of money as it all went into the bin. This was not our first takeaway from here but it will definitely be our last!!

We had our first ever take away from here last night. As pensioners we find it harder to go out nowadays. This place used to be a favorite but since it changed hands the value for money has all but disappeared. There was very little meat in both my wife's biryani and my curry. Also, the mixed starter was not very nice. Everything was the same colour; meat, fried onions and the onion bahji. No individuality. I don't think we will use or go here again.
