R V★.Avoid. where do i even begin. we ordered patra and it arrived burnt. when we flagged it, they remade it — but the second attempt was so drenched in oil it literally burned my hand when i touched it. i told the lady i couldn’t eat it in good conscience and didn’t want to pay for something inedible. her response? “this is how we make it, and we are a business — we need to stay in profit.” she charged me anyway. it didn’t stop there. the chef came out not to apologise, but to argue. same line: “this is how we make it, if you don’t like it, that’s your problem.” then the waiter joined in. three
Dodka Palovičová★★★★★This is one of our favourite restaurants and it never disappoints — the food is always excellent and the staff are friendly. As a vegetarian, I think it’s a true gem, and my boyfriend who isn’t vegetarian loves it too. The exotic Thai is a must-try dish. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and we always leave happy and full. 😊
S C★★★It’s quite an odd set up. We were given a piece of paper and a pen but I thought it was for the waiter. We sat there for a good 20min without being served so flagged the waitress who said we have to write our own orders down and hand it back to her. The menu items aren’t numbered, so you have to literally write out every starter, curry, side dish and drinks you want by hand. Needlessly time consuming. The food was pretty good but came out bit by bit and fairly slow. Especially as there were only 2 tables occupied. At the end, we were given our paper back with the amounts written down. It did
Will Phillips★★★★★My friend and I had a lovely meal here. The service was personable and attentive without being intrusive or overbearing. Definitely some of the best Indian cuisine I've ever had. Don't sleep on the Aubergine!
