Absolutely cracking spot for brunch or breakfast. Had the smoked salmon plate with halloumi, avocado, perfectly cooked eggs and cherry tomatoes on sourdough — beautifully presented on a gorgeous blue stoneware plate and every element was spot on. The salmon was generous, the halloumi properly griddled, and the avocado actually ripe (rarer than it should be!). The flat white deserves its own paragraph. Some friends and I had this excellent little cafe recommended to us by a local person. We called in for breakfast and were well looked after by the friendly staff. We ordered a variety of dishes and all was good - one error with the order was corrected quickly. There was plenty of choice on the menu. The prices were very reasonable. I am happy to recommend Surbiton Cafe.

The food here is genuinely out of this world .. absolutely fantastic. Everything we ordered was full of flavour, beautifully cooked, and clearly made with care. You can tell the kitchen really knows what it’s doing, and it’s easily some of the best food I’ve had in a café like this. Service was also great .. friendly staff, quick, and very welcoming. The manager was friendly and happy to make alternatives or customs for us which was lovely of them. The only downside was the environment.
