It’s a must-go when we have our granddaughter with us. We all love the simple good food and excellent service.

We popped in for a quick meal today whilst on a walk along the Thames. Staff were quite friendly and although it was a Tuesday in February the cafe was fairly busy. Quite a few customers obviously were regulars, which we thought was a good sign. It was a shame that the food was of very poor quality, I have never had such unpleasant sausages anywhere, they made Tesco value look like gourmet range. The prices looked like good value but turned out to be over priced as the food was not enjoyable at all. Better to charge a bit more and have something edible. Will give this place a wide berth in fut

The building is up for renovation/renewal once the current incumbent moves out (subject to appeal and with in excess of 3000 signatures) I’ve no doubt that the cuisine will change and prices rise, but the place is now run down and the facilities including the mini golf are past their prime. I don’t believe that the current owners do not have the option to rebid, I think that they were just onto a good thing financially… hopefully they will put forward a plan and bid to meet what is needed going forward.

Who makes a sandwich with 1 slice of bread? 🤨 I dropped in with the kids and decided to get them lunch. It was a pretty sad state... the cheese sandwich was a one bread slice sandwich, folded in half. It came with crisps and a drink for £5.60. Further to this, I'm confident the woman who is cooking was out in the back, smoking a fag and picking her nose - she looked surprised I came around the corner 🤢 I'll be certain to avoid this cafe - they are just lucky they are next to the park.
