Very disappointing. Booked as a table of one and was offered a choice of two - by the till / entrance or behind a pillar by the kitchen. Understandable when busy but the main restaurant was very quiet. Chicken madras was inedibly salty - sent it back but got the same level of saltiness in the replacement . On reviewing previous reviews, it seems saltiness is a constant complaint. Very disappointing and still charged for rice

Summary: Visited on bank holiday weekend with family. Great food, good service and decent value for money. Location: On the high street of Taunton, this wasn’t just another British-Indian restaurant. Easy access and plenty of parking on street outside. Ambiance: The restaurant is not too big but ambiance is nice and cosy. It can get too crowded too quickly and therefore noisy too. Not an issue though. Facilities: It has a bar, decent sized tables and comfortable chairs. Toilets to use but not in the perfect condition and not very clean. Wouldn’t rate it lower for just this. Booked this on a whim,so glad I did one it was banquet night(Thursday)and two this restaurant serves absolutely fantastic Currys. As a party of 3 we each had a different curry and were not disappointed,full of flavour with plenty of rice.All served in hot bowls on to hot plates. The naam bread was light and tasty. The starters mo,mo and mixed plater started the meal of right. Will be back again with more guests.
