Brilliant food. They asked me how spicy I’d like it, and made it perfectly. The waitress was very polite and attentive. Nan breads are very big and filling! Advise 1 between 2. We had some left over and they kindly packed it for us to take away. The better half commented that the Saag Paneer is very coconut tasting, more like a Korma, which is unusual. Would return.

We visited Gorkha Inn over the weekend while staying in Torquay and had a pleasant experience. The restaurant was quite quiet for a weekend evening, which made for a relaxed and unhurried meal. We tried a few different dishes — the chicken momos were tasty and comforting, and the chowmein and chicken fried rice were both satisfying. The garlic naan was fresh and fluffy, perfect for scooping up sauces. Everything was cooked well and nicely presented, though nothing particularly blew us away — just good, honest food. Booked a table via their website and received an automated response saying the booking was accepted, however, I called to double check and all was confirmed. The food was very nice and large portions. The wine and Gurkha Bottled lager was also nice. Staff where friendly and attentive. Prices were reasonable. The only negative was that the restaurant was a bit cold. If it was warmer, we would have stayed longer and had more drinks. It was about a 25 minute walk from the Premier Inn on the seafront.

My sister bought us an Indian chicken tikka masala X 6 , garlic naan x4 and poppadoms And meat Momo from here this evening. It arrived Luke warm and it was really tasty. We've had takeaways from here most of the all time really good. I can’t wait to see you again. Happy new year guys
